On April 19-20, 2018 a competition of students' scientific works was held at the Faculty of Philology of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The Department of Foreign Languages of Sumy State University was represented by Tetyana Tretyak, group M-61, the scientific supervisor - Svetlana Mikhno. The research on the theme "Foreign students as a separate stratum of the society; peculiarities of communicative adaptation" was selected and included in the program of the II round of the All-Ukrainian contest of student research papers in sociolinguistics. As a result of the competition, Tetyana Tretyak received a diploma from Professor Svyatoslav Pylypchuk, Dean of the Faculty of Philology of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
