The fruitful collaboration between TESOL-Ukraine and its sister affiliate Hawaii TESOL has gained new senses in the times of war. Members of Hawaii TESOL came up with the initiative to provide a series of free webinars to the Ukrainian TESOL community in April-May 2022 to support Ukrainian teachers during this time when professional development activities are limited. The webinars also aimed to connect more members in both affiliates. Lyudmyla Hnapovska, Associate Professor of Foreign Languages Department, was one of those who shared professional insights during these webinars.
