Academic mobility serves as a driving force for internationalization and the advancement of modern higher education. Associate Professor Iryna Liashenko, from the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguodidactics, recently seized the opportunity to participate in international academic mobility for research training at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague (CZU). This initiative falls under the Agrisciences platform, designed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers.
The Agrisciences platform is dedicated to promoting interdisciplinary research and cooperation in agricultural sciences. It provides valuable opportunities for higher education researchers, actively supporting initiatives that strengthen the scientific potential and encourage collaboration between universities, including Sumy State University.

The ongoing project of the Agrisciences platform, highlighted here, underscores the collaborative efforts of Ukrainian and Czech researchers. The joint initiative titled "BRT: Strengthening Scientific Capacities and Cooperation of Ukrainian Research Teams" aims to enhance scientific potential and facilitate ongoing collaboration between participating institutions. Led by the visionary Hynek Roubíč, the platform unites a diverse team of experts dedicated to developing scientific potential and supporting various projects.
During her academic mobility program, Iryna Liashenko explored the scientific components of interdisciplinary projects, engaged with research teams, and gained insights into the university's structure. She attended dissertation defences at the Faculty of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, acquiring a multidisciplinary research grant titled "English for Academic Purposes (EAP) for PhD Students in Crisis Conditions." This grant involves year-long collaborative research with an interdisciplinary team of scholars.
This experience not only enriches academic collaboration but also contributes to the advancement of research in challenging contexts.
