The Scientific Work Of The Department Of The Second Half Of The Day

2023 – scientific theme of the second half of the day is being implemented at the department: "Teaching foreign languages as a component of sustainable development in education.", state registration number 0123U102757

04. 2021 - 12. 2026. The scientific work of the department is carried out in the direction of approved theme "Linguistic synergistic research of English-language concepts", state registration number 0121U110475.

2017 – 2022 The scientific work of the department is carried out in the direction of approved theme "Global English as a Means of Intercultural and Professional Communication", state registration number 0177005235.

2016 The second phase of the study was performed in 2016: “Criteria and methods for assessing knowledge and skills in accordance with the proposed approach. The Development of Written Speech Activities in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students. ”  A 106-page report (Halyna Lytvynenko, Svitlana Zolotova, Iryna Morozova, Svitlana Podolkova, Maryna Dunaeva) has been prepared, which consists of six sections summarizing the work of the research department and  implementation of certain forms of work that contribute to the development of students' communicative competences. 

2015 The scientific work of the department is carried out in the direction of the approved theme of the second half of the day “Research of new directions of development of vocationally directed communicative competence of students of non-linguistic specialties of higher education institutions”, state registration number 01120006016. In June this year the first stage ended.  A 48-page report (Halyna Lytvynenko, Natali Mulina, Svitlana Mikhno, Svitlana Zolotova, Tetiana Plokhuta) was prepared, which consists of four sections summarizing the work of the research department and implementation of certain forms of work that contribute to the development of students' communicative competences. 

Recent PhD Thesis Defenses:

2022 – Nataliia Rudenko defended a Ph.D. thesis and received a Ph.D. 061 "Journalism".

2020 – Oksana Nefedchenko defended a Ph.D. thesis and received a Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences.

2018 – Svitlana Mikhno and Natalia Symonenko defended a Ph.D. thesis and received a Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences.

2017 – Tetiana Aleksakhina defended her PhD thesis and received a PhD in Philology.

2016, – three instructors Innna Zaitseva, Natalia Usenko, Yulia Kozachenko defended their PhD theses and received a PhD in Pedagogical Sciences.

2014 – Tetiana Plokhuta defended her PhD thesis and received her PhD in Pedagogical Sciences.
